  I'd heard only good things about this restaurant since entering Nederland this weekend, and I agree that it's amazing. Not only does Kathmandu have tasty eats, but what makes a difference is the smiling, welcoming owners who seem glad to have you there. They have a wonderful, balanced chai, and a delicious selection on the buffet line, including vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free choices. My favorite is the eggplant, salted and flavored to perfection, which goes well with brown rice. Ambiance is comfortable, with plenty of light from the windows. If I lived in Ned, I'd come here at least twice a week. :)

  I wasn't expecting to find an Indian buffet in Nederland, so that was neat. I wasn't a huge fan of the offerings they had, though. I've had much better Saag and Vegetable Korma elsewhere. The staff was friendly, but slow. If you're in the area, it's worth a try! (Oh, the Chai was really good!)

  This is one of those Indian restaurants where the food ordered off of the menu is far superior to that from the buffet. Sure, the buffet is still good and sometimes I get food from it, but if you've never ordered off of the menu here, you are missing out. The sweet potato masala is my personal favorite.

  My all time favorite Indian/Nepalese place! So good. I once moved to Nederland to be close to this place. I kid you not.
